For those who are willing to discover the way the Chinese live, a jaunt
down the intricate maze of Beijing's hutongs is essential. Organized
tours of Beijing hutongs are available. You will be taken by pedicab
(a tricycle cab), which was very popular in the old days, to visit the
Bell and Drum Towers, Prince Gong's Mansion and even to pay a visit
to an ordinary Beijing family in the compound houses. If sightseeing
at the Imperial Palace, Ming Tombs and the Summer Palace is helpful
in learning about the lives of China's emperors, the hutongs of Beijing
reflect in turn the history of Beijing as a whole.

Pick up from your hotel around 9:00 PM.
Then we will drive to Hutong. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Beijing
Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake and former residence
of Madame Songqingling.
The
car and tour guide will transfer you back to your hotel after the tour.
Introduction of attractions
Beijing Hutong: ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Take rickshaw to visit the ancient Hutong including Drum tower, Local family, Shicha Lake and Bar Street.
