Beijing Two Days Tour

Day 1. Ming Tombs, Badaling Great Wall Great Wall
English tour guide will pick up you from hotel lobby at 08:30 am.

Visit the Changling Tomb for one hour. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427.

After lunch, drive to the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours.

Enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea. Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years. Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.

Drive to visit Olympic Park. As the major venue of the 2008 Olympic Games, the Olympic Park contains three areas including the Forest Park in the north, major venue and supporting facilities area in the center and the completed stadiums and the reserved area. The completed stadiums contains the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), National Swimming Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium (Folding Fans). Take an outside view of the venues.

Transfer you back to your hotel after the whole day tour.

Day 2. Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace
Pick you up from your hotel at 08:30 am.

Drive 30 minutes to the Forbidden City. also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Visit Forbidden City for 1.5 to 2 hours.



Have lunch in a nice local restaurant.

Drive 30 minutes to the Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Take Sightseeing in Temple of Heaven for 1 hour.

Drive 40 minutes to Summer Palace. 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc. Visit this beautiful garden for around 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Transfer you back to hotel after the whole day tour.
