Day 1. Entry Beijing
Private vehicle and English-speaking
tour guide will pick you up from airport. Then we will transfer you to hotel.
Remainder of the day is at leisure.
Day 2. Tiananmen
Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Beijing Hutong
Pick
you up from hotel lobby at 08:30 am.
Drive to Tiananmen
Square, the biggest downtown Square of the world. Take a sightseeing on the famous square.
Enter Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square.
Forbidden City is also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex.
Visit Forbidden City along
the central axis for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Have lunch in a nice local restaurant.
Drive to Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Take sightseeing for about one hour.
Move on to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing.
Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing
(1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Visit Beijing Hutong via
rickshaw including Local family, Drum Tower, Houhai Lake and Bar Street.
Enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea. Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years. Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole
day tour. (Lunch)
Day 3. Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs
Pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am.
Drive 1.5 hours to Ming Tombs. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427.
Visit
the biggest one of Ming
Tombs (Changling Tombs) for 1 hour.
After lunch, move on to Badaling
Great Wall. Badaling is the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Visit Great Wall for about 2 hours.
Transfer you back to your hotel.

Day 4. Lama Temple, Beijing Zoo, Summer Palace
Pick
you up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to Summer Palace - 20 kilometers
northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of
Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares
including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.
After lunch, drive to Beijing Zoo to see Great Panda.
Then
we will visit Lama Temple -a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism,
is the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Lama Temple is a former imperial
palace in Qing dynasty.
Be
transferred back to your hotel after the tour.

Day 5. Capital Museum, Olympic Park, Beihai Park, Ancient Observatory
Pick
you up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Visit Capital Museum.
The construction style of the Capital Museum is an integration between classical culture and modern features. The Museum contains three independent constructions, including the rectangular exhibition hall, the circular exhibition hall and the quadrate office and scientific research building. The exhibition items are divided into three categories: permanent exhibitions, exhibitions of fine artistic collections and temporary exhibitions.
After lunch, drive to visit Olympic Park. As the major venue of the 2008 Olympic Games, the Olympic Park contains three areas including the Forest Park in the north, major venue and supporting facilities area in the center and the completed stadiums and the reserved area. The completed stadiums contains the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), National Swimming Center (Water Cube) and the National Indoor Stadium (Folding Fans).Take an outside view of the venues.
Move on to Beihai Park. Beihai Park was first dug out in the 12th century, with the excavated earth used to form a central island. It is the oldest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. The park covers an area of 69 hectares including a 39-hectare lake. In the park, lakes and hills wind along pavilions and towers, trees and flowers. Spend around one hour in the park.
Then we will visit Ancient Observatory. As one of the oldest observatories in the world, the Beijing Ancient Observatory covers an area of 10,000 square meters. Tools in the observatory were built in 1442 of the Ming Dynasty.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole
day tour. (Lunch)
Day 6. Free Day
You may
explore the city by yourself.
Day 7. Departure
Be picked
up from your hotel and transferred to airport to connect flight.
