Drive to visit the Mt. Emei. Located around 2 hours' driving from Chengdu, Mt.Emei is well-known for the abundant plants, rich Buddhist culture and the lovely monkeys. The mountain is both a mountain and a rain forest region that is very beautiful and picturesque. Baoguo Temple is the largest temple on Mt. Emei, and is the center of Buddhist activities of the mountain. Do not stare or watch a monkey's eye for more than 3 seconds :)
We suggest you take every stairs all the way if your knees will allow it. You'll be rewarded with a beautiful and peaceful hike.
