--There are two railway stations in Jinan, Jinan Railway Station and Jinan East Railway Station. Railway lines Beijing-Shanghai and Qingdao-Jinan pass and stop at Jinan City. It also connects Jinan with other large cities, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Lianyungang, Xian, Urumqi and Hangzhou, etc.
Internal transport: Taxi and bus are good ways to get around in Jinan city. They are convenient and fast. There are two types of public buses in Jinan, common buses and K buses, the latter is more expensive. You can get to any corner of the city by bus.

Baotu Spring: Located in the center of Jinan city, Baotu Spring is famous for its spring and man-made landscapes. It is also the most famous of the three major places of interests in Jinan and hence the symbol of Jinan city. There are 27 springs in the Baotu Spring Park such as the famous Jinxian spring, Shuyu spring, horse run spring, crouching ox spring, Huanghua spring, willow spring etc. As a must-see attraction in Jinan it is really a treasured city park featuring springs.
Daming Lake Park: Be regarded as one of three must-see attractions in Jinan (they are Baotu Spring, Daming Park and Thousand Buddha Mountain) Daming lake is a natural lake formed from many springs. Constant water level which unaffected by heavy rains or drought is the feature of this lake. There are six islands in Daming Lake contain flowers, trees and other plants flourishing amongst the various pavilions. The lake is a center of activity and you can find fish leaping near yachts and boats.
Thousand Buddha Hill: Situated in the south part of Jinan, Thousand Buddha Mountain is one of three must-see attractions in Jinan. It was called Mount Lishan in the old times. Buddhism was in trend and thousands of stone Buddhist sculptures were engraved on the mountain.Main peak of the mountain is 280m above sea level, many big stones, temples, pavilions; terraces are dotted on the mountain. The main scenic spots include pagoda-tree of the Tang Dynasty, Xingguo Temple, Nine Spots Terrace, Wenchang Temple, Shun Temple and Stone Buddhist Head.
Shandong Provincial Museum: This museum in Jinan featuring about 100000 historical relics, 8000 specimens and a collection of 12000 books in exhibition. The museum has fifteen exhibitions halls where eleven permanent displays are on show. These include figure paintings from the Han Dynasty, Buddhist sculpture, Shandong history and culture and a Confucian Culture exhibition. There is also a collection of calligraphy and paintings, Lu embroidery, fine porcelain articles, etc. It is a good way to know more about Shandong culture during your visit to this museum.
Quancheng Square: Quancheng Square is located in the central part of Jinan. It is surrounded by mountain, spring and river. The Square has a total area of 16.96 hectares, standing in the square you can have a look at the old city in the north, see Baotu Spring flowing slowly in the west, look into distance at the verdant Thousand Buddha Mountain stretching along in the south, look ahead the Liberation Pavilion fresh and elegant as a picture in the east.
Mountain Tai: Mountain Tai is the first mountain in the five high mountains. It lies in the middle of Shan dong province, and in the north of Tai an. On the mountain Tai, Buddhism and Taoism are very popular, so many emperors of the past visited it. Mountain Tai is a very mysterious place for many travelers. If you want to reach the top, you must clime more than 7000 stone steps .the most famous and steepest road is eighteen mountain bends. With rich cultural atmosphere, Mountain Tai is really a worth tourist site to visit during your Jinan Tour.
