Lu Xun Memorial Hall


Lu Xun Memorial Hall was first established in 1956 in Lu Xun Park.In September 1999, it was reconstructed and keeps the original two-storied counyard residential type south of the Changjiang River.

Lu Xun was one of China's greatest thinkers and man of letters in the 20th Century. He wrote a number of literary classics including The true story of Ah Q, A Madman's Diary, Kong Yiji and Medicine. He was also the first to translate science-fiction novels into Chinese. He is hailed as a political revolutionary as well.

The memorial hall covers 1,000 sq.meter and has displays in different forms with sculpture, wax figures and scenes that reproduce Lu Xun's rich and profound mentality and ideology.
