Arrive in Nanjing. Drive to visit the Mausoleum is the tomb of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, who is the great forerunner of Chinese Democratic Revolution, where you can get a bird-view of the city. After lunch, visit Presidential Palace and Confucius Temple Area. Confucius Temple also known as FUZIMIAO. Be transfer to train station and take the fast train (D5435/16:25-19:00) to Shanghai.
