Take taxi to an Antique Market to Start our walking tour. The market has a history of nearly 30 years and is the largest antique mall in Shanghai now. All kinds of collections are traded here, including furniture, stamps, coines, jade, calligarphy and paintings, etc.
Then visit Former Residence of Songqingling. SongQingling, known as the "mother of modern China", was one of the founders of the People's Republic of China. Former Residence of SongQingling is a three storey western-style brick and wooden structure. There is the living room, dining room and studio on the first floor and the bedroom, office and the nursemaid on the second floor. At this residence SongQingling took various activities of state affairs, and entertained guests from other countries.
Walking on the Hengshan Road. Hengshan Road is a street in the former French Concession of Shanghai. With European architectural style building and open courtryard, the street shows the picture of the Old Shanghai. The most famous of the street is the vibrant nightlife. Many of the mansions along the road have been converted into bars, night clubs, and restaurants.
Move on to visit
a local park. The overall layout of the park is the map of Shanghai. There is a man-made lake with a sky bridge, which looks like Huangpu river. The chinese earliest record producer—Small Red Mansion, is retained in the park.
Take taxi back to hotel after the tour.
