Shanghai walking tour of Jingan Villa, Former Residence of Chairman Mao, Jingan

Temple and Moller Villa

Be picked up from your hotel at 08:30 am by English speaking guide.

Take taxi to Jing'an Villa to Start our walking tour. It is built in old-Shanghai style，Travellers may get a feeling of getting back to 1930's. Local stores and other small art shop stands along the street.

Then visit Former Residence of Chairman Mao. It is a 2-storey old house in Shukumen style of 1920's and 1930's. Chairman Mao and his wife lived here in 1924. It is the only former residence of Mao Zedong which is open to the public in Shanghai.

Visit Jing'an Temple. Shanghai Jingan Temple is a famous ancient Buddhist temple in South China. It was first built in 247 AD in the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China. The main buildings in the temple are the Grand Hall, the Hall of Heavenly Kings and the Hall of Three Sages.

Move on to take an outside view of Moller Villa. Moller Villa is a unique northern European Norway-style architecture with more than 70 years history. It was the private garden Villa of Jewish Moller. Now, it became a landmark building in Shanghai and recognized as the top 10 on the beach house.

Take taxi back to hotel after the tour.
