Best Season of Xiamen Tour

--Xiamen Railway Station is located at the intersection of Xiahe Road and Hudong road. It has direct trains to most of the main cities in Fujian Province including Fuzhou, Sanming and Zhangzhou. Trains also depart for most major cities in China including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xian, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing, and Kunming.
--Xiamen port boasts long-term history. There have domestic sea routes to Hong Kong and the Taiwanese island of Jinmen. Xiamen Port consists of several port areas such as Dongdu Port Area at the west side of Xiamen Island, and Haicang and Songyu Port Areas at the south coastal area.
Internal Transport: Travelers could take both city bus and taxi to getting around Xiamen. Nearly two hundred bus routes make nearly 300 stops around the city. There are ordinary public buses and double-decker buses with or without a conductor, and every line charges CNY1 per person.
Taxi is also a good choice. There are more than 3,600 taxies running around every corner of Xiamen. It is faster and not as expensive as the other big cities.

Recreation in Xiamen

Must-see Attractions of Xiamen Tour
Gulangyu Island: The Island is located just southwest of Xiamen City. It is renowned for its delicate natural beauty, its ancient relics, and its varied architecture. The island is on China's list of National Scenic Spots and also ranks at the top of the list of the ten most-scenic areas in Fujian Province. Among the many scenic spots on the island, the most attractive are Sunlight Rock and the Shuzhuang Garden. Gulangyu is a must-see attraction when you are in Xiamen.
Nanputuo Temple: It is situated at the foot of Wulao Peak on the southern end of Xiamen. The temple was first built during the Tang Dynasty. It is now an imposing multi-layered trapezoidal structure that overlooks the sea. In the temple there are preserved many inscriptions. Behind the temple, inscribed on the wall of a rock is a large word "Buddha" which is 4.66 meters tall and 3.33 meters wide. The "Five Old Gentlemen Reaching the Clouds" in this temple area is one of the eight grand sights of Xiamen.
Jimei Turtle Garden: With the total occupation of nine thousand square meters the Turtle Garden was designed and built under the supervision of Mr. Tan Kah-kee in the 1950s and 60s. It is situated on the southeastern tip of Jimei Town; the Turtle Garden consists of three parts: the portico, the Monument of Liberation, and Tan’s Mausoleum. There are 291 carvings on the walls outside the portico, which show a variety of subjects. Many kinds of calligraphy and a charming array of couplets and inscriptions by distinguished persons and masters of these arts also grace the garden, comprising a great treasure trove of Fujian stone carving art.
