Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area: It is located at the northernmost tip of the Shandong Peninsula. Situated on the top of Danya Mountain Penlai Pavilion is one of the traditional and famous Lou or towers, the other three being Yueyang lou, Tengwangge Pavillion and Huanghe Lou. Penglai Pavilion has been called "fairy land" because of the mirages that often appear there.
