Beijing Panda and Botanical Tour

- Visit Fragrant Hill, Botanical Garden, Beijing Zoo and Tiananmen Square

Drive 40 minutes to visit Fragrant Hill. Located 20 km from Beijing downtown, Fragrant Hill covers an area of 160 hectares. Some building was built here under imperial order since 1186 in Jin Dynasty. Now it is a public park with rich in cultural relics and historic sites.

Then we will visit Botanical Garden - covers 56.4 hectares. The gardens include a dozen exhibition districts and halls, such as the tree garden, a perennial bulb garden, a rose garden, a peony garden, a traditional Chinese medical herb garden, a wild fruit resources district, etc.

After lunch, proceed to visit Beijing Zoo for great pandas. Beijing Zoo was built in 1955 on the foundation of Wansheng Garden of the Qing Dynasty. It is now the biggest zoo in China with the largest number of animal species. The highlight of Beijing Zoo is the national treasure-giant panda.

Enjoy Chinese tea ceremony and have a rest in a local tea house.
China is the hometown and birthplace of Chinese tea.
Being the national drinks of China, tea has a history of four to five thousand years.
Tea culture is one of the specific representative of Chinese culture.

Visit Tiananmen Square if time permits before be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
