Shanghai Guilin Xian Beijing China Tour

Day 1. Arrive in Shanghai.
Be picked by private vehicle and English speaking tour guide from airport. Be transferred to hotel.
After a short rest in hotel, visit Shanghai Museum - known as the Museum of Ancient Chinese Art, where you will find more than 120,000 precious and rare works of art.
Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Nanjing Road, the Bund, River Cruise, Acrobatic
Pick up from your hotel.
Visit Yuyuan Garden and market -one of the best Suzhou-style gardens in southern China.
Visit Jade Buddha Temple, a famous Buddhist temple in downtown.
Then we will visit Nanjing Road and the Bund -famous waterfront with art-like buildings in China, the symbol of Shanghai for hundreds of years. Have a short Cruise on Huangpu River.
Enjoy Acrobatic Show in the evening.

Day 3. Shanghai-Guilin 
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Guilin.
Arriving in Guilin, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide.
Have private city tour in this scenery city. Visit Fubo Hill -with lots of rock stone carvings and Buddha statues since Tang Dynasty, and from the summit you may have a bird's-eye view of Guilin city.
Visit Reed Flute Cave -Known as "the Palace of Natural Arts" contains beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 4. Guilin - Yangshuo
Pick up from hotel in the morning and drive one hour to the Zhujiang Pier for a 4.5 hours Li Rive cruise with lunch aboard. Enjoy the picturesque mountains, peaceful green fields, farms and villages with water buffalos, cows wondering around on both sides of the river bank.
Disembark at the one-thousand-year-old town Yangshuo in the afternoon.
Stroll in the Yangshuo street.
Overnight in Yangshuo.(Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 5. Moon Hill and Banyan Tree.
In the morning, visit Big Banyan Park. It is is a park near Yanshuo town with an ancient Banyan Tree. With 17 meters high, covering an area of 1000 square meters, the tree has an age of more than 1,500 years. It has beautifully twisted roots and gnarled branches.
Then visit Moon Hill-with a round through moon shaped cave on the upper part of the hill.
Drive to Guilin airport and connect flight to Xian.
Arriving in Xian, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 6. Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Huaqing Pool
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am.
Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum-the Eighth Wonder of the World. More than 6,000 different looking pottery figures depict the history of the Qin Dynasty from 221 BC-206 BC.
After lunch, visit the Forest of Stone Steles Museum -a classical courtyard styled structure with the oldest and richest collection of steles in China.
Then visit Huaqing Pool, the imperial garden of Tang Dynasty.
Enjoy Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show in the evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 7. City Wall, Provincial Museum, Big Wild Pagoda and Great Mosque
Be picked up from your hotel at 09:00 am.
Drive to visit the City Wall -the best preserved, oldest and largest ancient city defense system in China. The wall has a history of over 600 years.
Visit the Provincial Museum -a magnificent architectural complex in the Tang Dynasty style. It is the first huge state museum with modern facilities in China.
Then we will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda -Originally built in 652 of Tang Dynasty, the pagoda is functioned to collect Buddhist materials that were taken from India by the hierarch Xuanzang. Now it is Landmark of the Xian.
Visit the Great Mosque -the largest and best preserved mosques of China, which serves as an important spot for religious activities of over 60,000 Muslims in Xian.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 8. Fly to Beijing,  Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City
Be transferred to airport to connect flight to Beijing.
Arriving in Beijing, be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide.
Visit Tiananmen Square -the biggest downtown Square of the world. Walk around on Tiananmen Square.
Then we will enter the Forbidden City from the north end of Tiananmen Square. Forbidden City also called Palace Museum and is located at the center of Beijing. It was the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Rectangular in shape, Forbidden City is the world's largest palace complex. Take sightseeing in Forbidden City along the central axis for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Be transferred back to your hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 9. Badaling Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Taste Beijing Roast Duck for dinner. Enjoy Peking Opera show.
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive one and half hours to the famous Badaling Great Wall -the most famous section of Great Wall, well maintained. It is easy to walk along this section of defensive project of ancient China. Take sightseeing on Badaling Great Wall for about 2 hours. Cable car is optional to get the top to have a bird view of the wall.
Drive 30minutes to local restaurant to have Chinese lunch.
Drive 20minutes to Ming Tombs. Located 60 Kilometers north of Beijing, Ming Tombs consist of mausoleums of 13 Ming emperors. Changling is the most famous one. Construction of the Changling was started in 1409 and completed in 1427. Visit the tomb for one hour.
Taste Beijing Roast Duck for dinner.
Enjoy Beijing opera in theatre. Beijing Opera is deemed the national opera of China. The accompanying music, singing and costumes are full of Chinese cultural facts. It presents an encyclopedia of Chinese culture as well as unfolding stories, beautiful paintings, exquisite costumes and graceful gestures.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 10.Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace and Lama Temple
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to Temple of Heaven. Built in 1420, Temple of Heaven is situated south of Beijing city. It is the best preserved and largest sacrificial building complex in the world. Take sightseeing for about one hour.
Drive to Summer Palace - 20 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. Summer Palace is the largest imperial garden of Ming and Qing dynasty. The whole Summer Palace covers an area of over 290 hectares including more than 3,000 buildings, such as halls, pavilions, towers, etc.
Then we will visit Lama Temple -a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism, is the only downtown Buddhism temple in Beijing. Lama Temple is a former imperial palace in Qing dynasty.
Be transferred back to your hotel after the whole day tour. (Breakfast, Lunch)

Day 11. Beijing Hutong, Departure.
Be picked up from hotel at 08:30 am.
Drive to Beijing Hutong -ancient city alley in Beijing. Many of them were built during the Yuan (1206-1341), Ming (1368-1628) and Qing (1644-1908) dynasties surrounding the Forbidden City. Visit Beijing Hutong via rickshaw including Local family, Drum Tower, Houhai Lake and Bar Street.
Be transferred to airport to connect flight. (Breakfast)
