Erhai
Lake lies two kilometers northeast of Dali, Covering an area of 250 square
kilometers and an average altitude of 1,966 meters. It is one of the seven
biggest fresh water lakes in China and the largest highland lake next
to Dianchi Lake in Kunming. So it earned the fame of "Plateau Pearl".

and the snow-covered Mt. Cangshan in the west add radiance to each other.
Therefore, they are described as "Silver Cangshan and Jade Erhai".
At the clear night, the moon is mirrored in the lake, this scene "Erhai
Moon" is one of the four best sights of Dali.
There are three islets, four sand bars, five miniature lakes and nine
curvatures, all of which are worth visiting.
