Visit Chen Clan. Built between 1890 and 1894 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, This ancestral temple is the largest, best preserved and best decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. The temple used to provide lodgings for candidates of the Chen family who came to Guangdong to prepare for imperial examinations in Guangzhou. Hence it was also called Chen Clan Academy.

Move on to visit Xiguan House built by the rich and powerful families. These buildings are grand and bright with their halls and gardens combined with each other and decorated brilliantly. Then we will visit Liwan Museum, the Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King. Enjoy the Cantonese Tunes and Cantonese Opera in Qingping Restaurant. Cantonese Opera is the traditional opera of our country. It is a theme worthy of research. We can investigate its origins, history and change. It is one of the largest drama classes in Guangdong.
