Visit Guangzhou Zoo. Opened in 1958, Guangzhou Zoo is one of the three largest zoos in China, covering an area of 42 hectares. . It houses more than 450 kinds of animals, nearly 5, 000 in number, many of them are rare in the world. There are 35 kinds of national first-class protected animals are in the zoo, including pandas, golden monkeys, black-necked crane, and South China Tigers, etc. Guangzhou Zoo has the largest overland ocean exhibition house and the largest butterfly ecology garden in China. It also house more than 100,000 trees belong to 200 kinds.

Move on to visit Zhujiang Park. Located in the center Pearl River New City in Tianhe District, Zhujiang Park is filled with flowers and evergreen lands. The buildings in the park are Ling'nan style. The 4th International Garden Expo was held here in 2002.
