Dongguan One Day Tour of Dongguan Museum from Guangzhou

Drive to Foshan to visit Xiabafang area. Like 798 Art Zone in Beijing, Xiabafang is a place with creativity, design, entertainment and art. Many buildings were built in the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, but the cafes, bars and clubs bring you back the modern life.

Move on to visit Dongguan Museum. Dongguan Museum is a comprehensive museum that displays different aspects of local history. The musuem is a 5-story building, covering an area of 2700 square meters. The collections in the museum have 9,542 pieces, including pottery wares, calligraphies and paintings, bronze wares, jade wares, wood carvings, coins and unearthed cultural relics.

Then visit Yuanchonghuan Memorial Park. Yuanchonghuan Memorial Park is located in the hometown of Yuan Chonghuan, a famed patriot and military commander of the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). The park covers an area of 48,000 square meters. The main attractions include memorial archway, stone status of Yuan Chonghuan, ancestral temple, relief to introduce Yuan Chonghuan, fomer residence, Sanjie Temple, and etc.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.
