Dongguan One Day Tour of Memorial Hall of Linzexu from Guangzhou

Be picked up from your hotel by private tour guide and vehicle at 08:30 am.

Drive to Foshan to visit Memorial Hall of Linzexu. Memorial Hall of Linzexu is built in memory of the national hero, Lin Zexu in the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), who was the leader agaist the opium trade during the First Opium War and burned the large numbers opiums in Humen. The memorial introduces Lin Zenxu and the history of the First Opium War.

Move on to visit Weiyuan Fort. Weiyuan Fort is one of the battle fields of the opium war and one of the ancient forts best preserved in China. Facing the sea with the mountain for a background, it was the an important coastal defense in Humen in the Opium War period. Together with Zhenyuan fort and Jingyuan fort, they formed a solid position in a triangle shape. There are 40 hidden cannons and 4 open cannons on the Weiyuan Fort.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.
