Foshan One Day Tour of Liangyuan Garden and Ancestral Temple from Guangzhou

Be picked up from your hotel by private tour guide and vehicle at 08:30 am.

Drive to Foshan to visit Liangyuan Garden. Liangyuan Garden is one of four famous gardens in Guangdong Province. It was the private garden of Liang clan in the Qing Dynasty. The garden consists of residence, ancestral hall and gardens, with the style of Lingnan Architecture and Garden of South China. The main attractions include Twelve Stone Rooms, Qunxing Thatched Hall, Hanxiang House, etc. Clean water, marvellous stones and and famous calligraphies attact visitors.

Move on to visit Lingnan Tiandi Area. LingnanTiandi Area include the area of Ancestral Temple, Donghuali and other ancient architecture. The history buildings and streets are protected and reconstructed with morden technique.
Visit Ancestral Temple. Ancestral Temple is a Daoist temple dedicated to the Northern God. It was first built in 1078 and rebuilt in 1372. Covering an area of 3500 square meters, the temple consists of Wanfu platform, Lingying Archway, Jingxiang Pond, Bell and Drum Tower, Main Hall, etc. The buildings are decorated with pottery, wood carvings, brick carvings and plaster mouldings. Many history relics are on display in the main hall.

Then visit Ancient Stove of Southern China. The scenic area presents the long history of pottery culture of Shiwan Town. The main attractions inlcude Nanfeng Kiln, Gao Kiln, Gao Temple and Hall of Lin's clan, the ancient architectural complex of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and a pottery museum. Visitors also can enjoy the other traditonal crafts and folk arts.

Be transferred back to your hotel after the tour.
