Visit Tomb of Nanyue King. Opened in 1988, Museum of the Tomb of the Nanyue King showcases the tomb of the second king of Nanyue State during the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C.-24 A.D.). and its unearthed relics. It is the the oldest and largest Han tomb with the most funerary objects found in southern China. Built wtih huge stones, the bomb has colorful murals on its walls.More than 1,000 pieces of cultural relics dispayed in the museum, including a chariot, gold and silver vessels, musical instruments, and human sacrifices. The highlights is a silk-jade garment made up of 2,291 pieces of jade.
Then we will visit Shangxiajiu Street. Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street is a showcase of architecture culture, food culture and folk customs of South China. The extraordinary architecture- "Qilou " is unique in China. There are many famous stores and restaurants here.
Move on to visit Hualin Temple. Hualin Temple is one of the five largest Buddhist temples in Guangzhou. It was first built in during the Southern Dynasties by the Indian Dharma. The main attraction is Five-Hundred-Arhat Hall. 500 golden painted statues are lifelike, in different postures and moods.
Then we will take a visit to Chen Clan
Temple. Built between 1890 and 1894 during the reign of Emperor Guangxu
of the Qing Dynasty This ancestral temple is the largest, best preserved,
and best decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province.
Then visit Qingming Market. Qingping Market is the largest and most famous free market in Guangzhou, covering an area of over 6,000 square meters. There are over 2,000 stalls on this crossed 1200-meter-long street. The various products can be found here including meat, seafood, eggs and vegetables, flowers, birds, fishes, dried food and medicine, etc. Qingping Chinese Herbal Medicines Market is one of the first specialized markets opened in China.
