Daming Lake Park

Daming Lake Park is located in the northern part of Jinan with an area of 86 hectares, and water surface occupies 46 hectares. Many springs converge into this natural lake, namely, Zhenzhu (pearl) Spring, the Furong (lotus) Spring, Wangfu (King's Mansion) Pool, and so on. In the summer, the lake is the sea of lotus, willows circle the lakeshore. It is really a ideal place to enjoy the beautiful of nature.
There are also over 30 historical relics in the park besides many natural sites. Pavilions, tower and memorials are well-preserved on the four sides. The Italian traveler Marco Polo described it as a beautiful garden.
