Thousand-Buddha Hill

Thousand-Buddha Hill(Qianfoshan) is located in the southeast of Jinan with the height of 281 meters. It is one of the three most famous scenic spots in Ji'nan for it rich in both natural beauty and historical relics. Numerous Buddhist statues on the rocks of the hill were carved in the Sui Dynasty (581-618). The Thousand-Buddha Cliff on the south side of the mountain presents 130 statues.
In addition, there are many pavilions and towers, including the famous Xingguo Temple, Tang-Dynasty Pagoda Tree Pavilion, Cloud Passing Zen Temple and other scenic spots.
