Bayanbulak
Grassland is about 270 kilometers northwest of Korla. It is the second
largest grassland in China with an area of 23,000 square kilometers.
Plenteous water moisten the luxurious grasslands, colorful flowers; flocks
and herbs can be seen everywhere; the yurts are also scene under the blue
sky.
Bayanbulak Grassland has one of the largest swan reserves in the world,
which is comprised of hundreds of small connected ponds and extends about
300 square kilometers. Thousands of swans live, play and breed on this
widest water area.
