Main Attractions for this tour:
Ancient Castle: It is a miniature castle with complete functions as a city. Covering an area of 0.12 million square meters, it integrates military, residential, productive and religious functions. The castle was first built in 617. Ancient streets and buildings are well preserved in it. Many precious historical sites were found here, including underground tunnels constructed in Sui and Tang Dynasties, tombs of Jin Dynasty and theatre stages of Yuan Dynasties. Among them, the tunnels, Liu Wuzhou Temple and glaze tablets are rare in the country.
Ancient Temple: It was first built in 870 during the Tang Dynasty. The remaining architecture were mainly built in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Covering an area of 17,000 square meters, the temple consists of 15 halls, which are all wood structures. It is famous for frescoes of Yuan Dynasty and colourful sculptures of the 18 Buddhist Saints of Ming Dynasty.
