Covering an area of 80,000 square meters, it consists of five alleys, five fortresses and five ancestral halls. There are 231 courtyards including 2078 rooms in total. Courtyard of Family Wang carried on the style of the Xizhou Dynasty(1046BC-771BC), antechamber in the front and dormitory at the back. The woodcarvings and stone carvings described in flowers, birds, fishes, insects and tales are exquisite..
ancient temple: The temple was first built in 870 during the Tang Dynasty. The remaining architecture were mainly built in the Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Covering an area of 17,000 square meters, the temple consists of 15 halls, which are all wood structures. It is famous for frescoes of Yuan Dynasty and colourful sculptures of the 18 Buddhist Saints of Ming Dynasty.
