5 Days Huangshan and Xin’an River Hiking Tour (Private Tour)

Day 1 Arrival in Huangshan City
Meet in Huangshan Airport (or Railway Station), transfer to hotel.

Day 2 Huangshan City-Huangshan Mountain (BL)
Take about 1 hour bus ride to Huangshan Mountain, a marvelous mountain area, now on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List, which has spectacular landscape with its four unique scenes: interesting shaped rocks, waterfalls, unique shaped pine trees growing out of rocks, and its sea of clouds, begin your hike from Ciguang Pavilion, you will trek 10km (3 hours or so) before you arrive in Jade-screen Peak, which is reputed as an "imperial palace in heaven", and visit Welcoming-guest Pine Tree, which has a long history over 1 000 years old. After lunch, continue your trek in Huangshan, on the way you will visit the Lotus Flower Peak, the tallest peak in Huangshan Mountain, and then sightsee the Turtle Peak. Stay overnight on the mountain. You will trek about 20km all day.

Day 3 Huangshan Mountain (BL)
Begin your trek in the morning, about 20km trek all day long, today’s excursion includes Xihai Grand Canyon, a newly-developed scenic area just opened to public recently close to the west gate of Huangshan Scenic Area, Bright Summit, the second highest peak of Huangshan, the best place for watching the sunrise and the clouds sea, Flying-over Rock, located to the northwest of Bright Summit in the Baiyun scenic area, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion, the best place for admiring the unique rocks of West Sea in Huangshan Mountain, and etc.

Day 4 Huangshan Mountain-Huangshan City (BL)
Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise. After breakfast, go on trekking on the top mountain. Today, you will hike 15km or so, include the Lion Peak, the Refreshing Terrace, of all the scenic spots on Huangshan Mountain the Refreshing Terrace on Lion Peak is the optimum location for viewing the sea of clouds and the sunrise, Brush Pen Peak, Black Tiger Pine Tree and Beginning-to-believe Peak, located east of North Sea in Huangshan Mountain at a height of 1,668 meters and noted for generous greenery and its shaped rocks, where you can find many ancient pine trees, and etc. After that, hike down the mountain (3 hours or so). And then, back to downtown of Huangshan City, pay a visit to Tunxi Ancient Street, situated in the center of Tunxi District, the location of Huangshan City Government.

Day 5 Huangshan City-Shexian County-Huangshan City (BL)
After breakfast, transfer to Shexian County, Xin’an River Hiking today, it will take 4-5 hours to complete the 10km hike. Begin your hiking at NanYuanKou, visit a primary school and local family in the countryside. Back to downtown of Huangshan City, visit Ink-stick Workshop, the unique pigment of Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy, and Huangshan Museum, , where you can explore the traditional Chinese architecture, and transfer to Huangshan Airport (or Railway Station or Bus Terminal) to next destination.

Note: Children taller than 1.1 meter should be charged as full price, children shorter than 1.1 meter should be charged only half of the price.
