Day 1. Arrival in Lhasa
Reach Lhasa by flight or train.
Be met by driver and vehicle of ChinaTravelKey.com in airport or train station. Check in Hotel.
Remainder of the days is at leisure. You can walk slowly near your hotel to get yourself to accommodate to the anoxic altiplano.

Day 2. Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
Photo of Jokhang Temple LhasaThen we will visit the Jokhang Temple - the holiest site in Tibet and is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.
Move on to visit the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street - Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid.
Be transferred back to hotel. Welcome dinner will be arranged in this day.

Day 3. Drepung Monastery, Sera monasteries
Photo of Sera MonasteryVisit the Drepung Monastery - known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. Established in 1416, Drepung Monastery houses many cultural relics, which make it more superb.
Then we will visit the Sera Monastery - one of the three largest monasteries of Gelugpa. Completed in 1419, the collection of murals is maintained in perfect, original condition.
If we are very lucy,we may even come across Sera Monastery's Monks debiting which was held in the courtyard at around 3:00-5:30 in the afternoon.

Day 4. Namtso Lake One Day Tour from Lhasa
Photo of Tibet Small Group TourDrive from Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way there, we will discover Nyenchen Thanglha (snow mountain ranges) and lots of nomads tent with grazing yak and sheep densely-populated around the mountain side.
Take sightseeing at Namtso Lake after around 5 hours driving.
Namtso Lake is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. Travelers can do a relaxing trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.
Overnight at Lake Shore Guest House Dorm with humble facility.
Lake Shore of Namtso is one of the best places to see stars in the sky.

Day 5. Namtso Lake to Lhasa
Enjoy a clear and peaceful morning on the shore of Namtso Lake.
Travelers may take a light trekking along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves.
Drive to Dumxung to have lunch.
In the afternoon, it is possible to enjoy Yangpachen hot spring (Optional) to enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pool filled with hot springs water of Tibet.
Be transferred back to Lhasa and stay overnight

Hello Michel, thank you for your Message. Namtso Lake is not aviliable for boating or swimming, because Namtso Lake is regarded as holy lakes by local people in Tibet. Travelers may take a leisure walking or light trekking near the Lake.
