Day 1. Arrival in Lhasa
Reach Lhasa by flight or train.

Day 2. Potola Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
Photo of Potala PalaceThen we will visit the Jokhang Temple - the holiest site in Tibet and is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.
Move on to visit the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street - Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts assemble and a place to which a visit must be paid.
Be transferred back to hotel. Welcome dinner will be arranged in this day.

Day 3. Drepung Monastery, Sera monasteries
Photo of Sera MonasteryVisit the Drepung Monastery - known as the most important monastery of Gelugpa in Tibetan Buddhism. Established in 1416, Drepung Monastery houses many cultural relics, which make it more superb.
Then we will visit the Sera Monastery - one of the three largest monasteries of Gelugpa. Completed in 1419, the collection of murals is maintained in perfect, original condition.
If we are very lucy,we may even come across Sera Monastery's Monks debiting which was held in the courtyard at around 3:00-5:30 in the afternoon.

Day 4. Lhasa - Gyantse - Shigatse (370km) (Breakfast, , )
Yamdrotso Lake, Gyantse Kumbum & Pelkor Monastery

We will drive from Lhasa to Gyantse. On the way, the vehicle will pass the Gampala pass (4790 m).
Gampala Pass is also called KampaLa Pass, which is the dividing line of front Tibet and rear Tibet, and also the only way to the Yamdrok Lake. The pass is 4,990 meters above sea level.
Like other famous passes in Tibet, there are huge Mani Stones here. The colored prayer flags flutter in the wind. The pass is the best place to overlook the Yamdrok Lake.
Travelers will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso Lake (4400m) . The Lake is surrounded by many snow-capped mountain and in the distance you have spectacular views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m), the highest mountain near Lhasa.
Move on to drive to Gyantse.
Visit the famous Pelkor Monastery and Gyantse Kumbum.
Pelkor Monastery is also called Baiju Monastery, which is located in Gyangze County of Shigatse, 230 kilometers from Lhasa, with 3,900 meters above sea level. It is a monastery combing three major sects of the Tibetan Buddhism, Sakya, Kadampa and Gelug sects. First built in 1427, the monastery is a typical Tibetan Buddhist building of combination of temple and stupa, which was once seen in monasteries from 13th to 15th century. The stupa in the monastery is called Myriad Buddhas Stupa. More than 100,000 Buddha statues are painted in the stupa.
Drive 1.5 hours to Shigatse, the second largest city of Tibet. Overnight at Shigatse.

Day 5. Shigatse(3900m) to Everest(5200m) via Tingriy
Be picked up from your hotel.
In the morning,tourists will visit Tashilunpo Monastery, the seat of Tibet's second highest incarnation, the Panchen Lama.
The monastery houses a giant statue of the Maitreya Buddha - the biggest gilded statue of Maitreya (Buddha of the future) in the world and a tomb of all the Panchen Lama, containing jewels and gold.
Drive around 6 hours back to Lhasa in the afternoon.

Drive from Lhasa to Namtso Lake. On the way there, we will
discover Nyenchen Thanglha (snow mountain ranges) and lots of nomads tent with grazing yak and sheep densely-populated around the mountain side.
Take sightseeing at Namtso Lake after around 5 hours driving.
Namtso Lake is one of the four holy lakes of Tibet and also the highest salt lake. Travelers can do a relaxing trekking around the lake side and Tashi Island.
Overnight at Lake Shore Guest House Dorm with humble facility.
Lake Shore of Namtso is one of the best places to see stars in the sky.

Day 7. Namtso Lake to Lhasa
Enjoy a clear and peaceful morning on the shore of Namtso Lake.
Travelers may take a light trekking along the lake shore to Tashi Dor Island to explore the meditation caves.
Drive to Dumxung to have lunch.
In the afternoon, it is possible to enjoy Yangpachen hot spring (Optional) to enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pool filled with hot springs water of Tibet.
Be transferred back to Lhasa and stay overnight

Yes, you can pay a deposit of 100USD via Credit Card or PayPal. You can remit the balance of this trip via bank one month before tour date.
The tickets we use is E tickets, you can check in the flight with your passport on September 16.
Our driver in Beijing will hand you the Tibet Entry Permission when you reach Beijing on September 12.
